What is scratchboard?  Scratchboard is like drawing in reverse; instead of putting marks down, I'm taking marks away. (Although this technique is mimicked electronically, for me nothing is as effective or satisfying as doing it by hand.) I combine scratchboard with technology (Photoshop and/or Illustrator) to create my illustrations.
